Semaphore
F588
According
to Steve Hepler, this semaphore was acquired by Earle Gil in the early
1960's sometime after the blocking signals were taken out of service
in 1962. It spent some time in his back yard until the late 1980's when
it was given to the Whippany Railway Museum where it still stands today.
Judging by the numbering sequence of these signals, It was from the
section between Drake's pond near Newton and the Slate cut.
