Intermountain Steel Pfaudler Milk Tank Car (RTR)

These cars were recently released by Intermountain. For anyone modeling the Sussex Branch up to Branchville they are indispensable. Additionally, as Bob Bahrs has included 3 photos of them behind steam in his recent milk car book, they are exceptionally valuable. This model has caused quite the discussion on the Yahoo Milktrains group. The main concern seems to be the curvature of the roof corners.

All I can say is that I'm very happy with this car. They were produced in 4 numbers for Bordens and I bought all four. It came straight out of the box with metal wheels and more detail than I'd ever put on a kit I'd build. The handgrabs are beautiful and the brake detail looks so good, I'll be surprised if it doesn't actuate.
