The Iron Hotel was an inn used by the stage lines
and was a ticket office for the Sussex Railroad. This is a photo

Whitehall, or Whitehall Summit was one
of the earliest stations on the Sussex Railroad, having been established
when the railroad was built past it. It enjoyed a prime location being
on the Morris Turnpike where stage coaches ran as well as very near
to the new Railroad. However, it did not last long as it disappeared
from the published schedules after the 1880's.
