Dave Rutan

Dave Rutan, a Sussex County native, is a railroad historian who specializes on the history of Sussex Branch of Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad. He has written a variety of articles for Railroad Model Craftsman magazine as well as the New Jersey Herald. Dave shares his research via his Internet site, walking tours on the Sussex Branch Trail, as well as his new book. Dave currently hosts an email list at Yahoo that has over 100 members. It serves as a forum to discuss the Sussex Branch. Dave enjoys model railroading, and Esperanto is his international language. He lives in Franklin, with his wife and their daughter.
